Polish Goldfus/Goldfuss, Lublin, Poland
There was a Nachman Goldfus in 1865 with father Aron Szmuel and mother Hena in Lublin, Poland. His surname actually was spelled as Goldfus.
Then I found a Rosalee Goldfuss born July 7, 1890 on the ship Rhaelia. This was found on the 1890-1891 New York Immigrants List from Austria, Poland and Galicia.
Otherwise, when you type in Goldfus on Jewishgen, many spellings starting with Gold come up. They're probably the word for foot that I can't recognize.
